Marriage Counseling Infidelity
What is the point of getting married if the solution for infidelity is to just go to “marriage counselling”?
To be completely honest, i think the generation before me (im 24) has run over, trampled & defecated on the idea’s & meaning of marriage. There are still some good married people & there are some marriages where the people just grow apart. But im not talking about those people. Im talking about people who have affairs left & right & the people who just excuse the cheater when they do. Everyones soulution for cheating is to go to marriage therapy. Well whats the point of being married if the cure for cheating is to just go to marriage therapy? Then there are these couples that have open marriages. Ok, so just b/c your marriage life is messed up, you & your spouse decide to go out & mess with the feelings of single people, just so you can have your cake & eat it too? I personally think that alot of older married people are setting bad examples for their children & people my age. Thats not what love & marrriage is about. So why cant people just grow up & get a divorce?
I’m with you on this. If you are married be truly married if you don’t want to be leave, but infidelity means that you don’t love your partner enough to care about their feelings, you want to have your cake and some extra icing too and personally I think that renders a marriage null and void.
